Our Mascot "Chocolate"

Adventures with Chocolate

On our way home from Tennessee, we stopped at a few spots in Alabama, too. This was great - more new places for me to see!

Back

Welcome to Alabama! (I've learned how to jump really high by watching my cousin practice his dressage lessons!)

Hmm. Good thing they don't require leashes for horses.

We stopped at Vulcan Park. There is a museum and a large tower with the statue of Vulcan on the top. I thought it was funny - Vulcan isn't wearing any pants!

I made a new friend at Vulcan Park. This man was very nice and agreed to take a photo with me. He was with a group of school children - I hope they had as much fun as I did!

This is what the tower looks like. We took the elevator up to the observation walkway. 'Dad' was scared, but he walked around it, anyway. I thought it was really neat.

HI! This is the view from the observation walkway. You could see forever, it seemed! It was windy up there, too.

There are many neat things in the museum at Vulcan Park. I was checking out this old-time radio. Never saw one like this before!

The model is much smaller than the real thing - this guy was MY size!

They had a neat bench made out of local rocks. A great place to take a rest.

Me practicing my jumping again. If I was holding a spear, I'd look just like Vulcan, don't you think?

This was our last stop on the way home. Welcome to Mississippi! This was a really fun trip, I hope I get to do it again someday.
